What is the difference between a propane and a natural gas BBQ?
Propane uses a portable tank, giving you placement flexibility and easy portability. Natural gas connects directly to your home line for typically lower operating costs long-term and no more last-minute runs for an empty tank.
How do I maintain my Weber BBQ to make it last as long as possible?
Clean the grates after each use. Once a season, do a deep clean: burners, inside the lid, and worn parts (igniters, heat deflectors). Before winterizing, clean thoroughly and cover with a quality cover. A well-maintained Weber BBQ can last 15 to 20 years.
Which Weber BBQ lineup is best: Spirit, Genesis or Summit?
The Weber Spirit is the entry-level line, ideal for families of 2 to 4 who want a reliable grill at an accessible price. The Weber Genesis is mid-range: more power, a larger cooking surface and a side burner option. The Weber Summit is the premium choice for grilling enthusiasts. Does a charcoal BBQ give better flavour than gas?
Charcoal produces intense, dry heat that encourages caramelization, and the combustion adds a smoky flavour that gas doesn’t replicate exactly. That said, gas heats up faster, gives you precise temperature control, and is much more convenient for everyday grilling. Many charcoal fans add wood chips to their gas grill to get the best of both worlds.
Can I use my BBQ in the winter?
Yes, absolutely! Grilling with your Weber BBQ in a Quebec winter is completely doable and increasingly popular. Just a few things to keep in mind: expect a longer preheat time in cold weather, keep the propane tank sheltered from the wind, and never leave the grill unattended. Some Weber models actually perform very well in low temperatures. The only real limit is how willing you are to brave the cold!
Do you carry Weber replacement parts and accessories in-store?
Yes. As an authorized Weber Alliance dealer, we stock parts for common models: grates, heat deflectors, igniters, hoses, covers and cooking tools. For less common parts, we can order them in. If you don’t know your BBQ’s model number, bring a photo of the nameplate and our team will take it from there.
